Review the following materials to help you prepare for the Praxis I tests:
All students need to take Praxis II before student teaching: Students need to take Music content knowledge, Test Code #113, (DO NOT need to take Test Code #112 - Music: Analysis; and Test Code 111 - Music: Concepts and Processess) Starting from August 1, 2011, all students DO NOT need to take the Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT) test - 0522, 0523, 0524 How Are the Praxis II Tests Given? Praxis II tests are available in paper-based format only and are offered on pre-scheduled dates throughout the year at universities, high schools and other locations throughout the world. How Can I Prepare for the Tests?Review the following materials to help you prepare for the Praxis II tests: The Praxis Series Information Bulletin (PDF) — provides information on registration, test day procedures, and score reporting. Praxis II Tests at a Glance — contain information about test content and structure, as well as sample test questions and rationales for each test. Praxis test preparation materials — includes detailed study tools that contain outlines, sample questions with answers and detailed rationales, valuable test-taking strategies, as well as full-length practice tests.
